I might just stick with Nintendo. Seems like they'll have more casual games that will be easier to get into.

Yeah, I know. But I'm a huge fan of Sonic, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, and the like. The problem with those series is that they aren't limited to just one console, so in order to enjoy their "exclusive" titles, I have to get the system that said title is on. Fandom of multiconsole series is rather expensive, to say the least...

I've mainly stuck to PS2/Xbox the second-half of this generation (GCN the first half), but I doubt I'll get a PS3 anytime while it's $500-$600 and the 360 I won't get until it's at least $300 w/ a hard-drive. Right now I'll get Wii at launch, but we'll see if there's any surprises between now and then.

It isn't the systems themselves so much as the games. That's the reason why I swallowed my Nintendo fanboy pride and bought a PlayStation. I loved Final Fantasy and Castlevania, but after Super Nintendo, they moved to PSone, so that's where I'd have to go in order to enjoy their latest titles. I just wish they'd all keep their best franchises on just one console, but I know that isn't going to happen, unless we want to see some serious game-price inflation.

Wait, are you saying you like Castlevania on the PS2? You're like the first person I know to say that.

What the hell, man. What the hell? Lots of people liked the PS2 'Vanias. I liked them. But by "PlayStation", I meant PSone. Not PS2. CASTLEVANIA COOLNESS CHART (From greatest to least) Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Castlevania III Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Castlevania: Rondo of Blood Castlevania II Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow Super Castlevania IV Castlevania Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness Castlevania Bloodlines Castlevania Chronicles Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge Castlevania Legends Castlevania (Gameboy) And just to let the fanboys know it, THE SATURN HAD THE BETTER VERSION OF SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT! Sony was upset by Konami's decision and arranged that Konami release it in America as a PSone exclusive. So, Japan got the Saturn version of the game, which was better in nearly every respect.

The PSone was awesome, much better then the PS2, in the respect that sony didnt ship out crappy consoles that had a bug in it, like in the first shipment of ps2's, like mine!
