I think developers are going to shift their attention to the DS and PSP. By the end of 2005, I'd be surprised if the GBA still gets a lot of support.

I would agree. The GBA should die down to nothing by the end of 2005. The DS and PSP will take over.

I don't think it would become a "nothing" in the business terms.. Remember.. the DS doesn't have GBA multiplayer support.. and there are alot of GBA multiplaying gamers...

No it won't. GBA games were not made for the DS when it comes to multiplayer. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen are very popular multiplayer games, but it's not compatible with the DS in multiplayer form.

After a while, I think most people are going to stop buying GBA games and get DS games instead. That's probably the time that third-parties will stop making GBA games.

Gba and DS are diffrent, GBA will probably live till fall. And Ds only has rumours of going online, remember it only has a software that goes by 60 feet, unless you jumpfrog it. which would be pretty good, and the ds came as a weird time, before the psp but it was a pretty good angle.

I Bumped i did not know that...uh?? Anyways, in the future. 2006-2007, do you think the psp will continue with many companies? Im just thinking that if they DO make gba games, and how longed the gba survived, wouldent the psp last as long?
Or more to the point, will compact gaming dominate everything?

Course, GBA was the most successful gaming platform this generation, so there might be a possibility.

The PSP wont last that long because this is Sony's first Handheld and everybody trusts Nintendo in the Handheld Market.

But Sony tries more than just games (TVs, PCs, CD Players, Palm Pockets), and the PS2 has more fanboys then GCN. I think it's safe to say PSP will at least be a success, if not better than DS.
