Apparently all sages on NSider who have 30+ products registered get one. And we all know you must have that, looking at that game list of your's.

Ugh...I didn't get one. Although I'm not sure. JusD has 63 (yeah, 63) games registered and he's saying he didn't get one. Lets hope I'm wrong and I see a package tomorrow.

Yeah, I did get a Micro today. I really wasn't expecting it. I came home and saw the package sitting in front of my door, and then when I saw it was from Nintendo, I figured it was just a shirt or something... When I opened it, I was shocked. I've wanted a Micro since they were first released, but I didn't want to spend the money on a fifth GBA (I already have a GBA, GBA SP, GB Player, and DS, which doubles as a GBA). So, I was quite happy with this surprise gift from Nintendo. With that said, I haven't had a ton of time to play it. But, based on the few minutes I've already spent with the system, it's really nice. First of all, let me get the obvious out of the way: It is very, very sleek. I got a black Micro and it looks awesome with the silver faceplate on it. Seriously, this is quite possibility the nicest looking system Nintendo has ever released. As for how it feels... Well, it's great. I was slightly worried that it would feel too small, but honestly, it seems perfect. I really can't say if it gets uncomfortable after prolonged periods of time because I haven't sat down and played it for a while, but based on my brief playtime, it's very comfortable. And then there's the screen. It has five brightness settings, each of which looks quite good. The images are crisp and I haven't noticed any washed out colors like on a GBA SP (when holding it at a tilted angle). The screen is much brighter than the SP's, and it's even brighter than the DS's screens. Overall, I think you guys can figure out that I'm very impressed with the Micro. It is by far the best Game Boy that Nintendo has released. But, if it wasn't for the fact that I got it for free, I'm pretty sure that I would not have bought one. It's very nice and all, but my four other GBAs get the job done. So, to put it simply: If you have the cash to blow, buy a Micro. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and by the way, I currently have 36 products registered. So I guess the 30+ rule is true. As for JusD not getting a Micro, it might be because he already has a Micro registered at Nintendo.com (er... I think he does).

Hmmmm at first I thought the micro would be a flop but after hearing about it a few times and looking at the sales figures it does not seem to bad.
Nintendo knew what they were doing as always.

Congratulations on getting you micro. Lol. I was at first dubious about getting one of those, but I have fallen in love with it. I want to buy the Japanese Final Fantasy IV limited edition. Problem with the Micro is that it costs $100, or in my case will probably end up being $150.

Like I said in my earlier post, it's an awesome system, but if you already have a GBA SP and/or don't have any spare cash, there's no need to buy a Micro.

Why did Nintendo release another type of GBA anyways? What's so different? Is there a new feature (except the lighting you mentioned) that's in no other GB consoles?

I played it again at Wal-Mart today(my most hated story in a 1 mile radius). T_T I really want one. I joined Nintendo and started to register the games. I don't have 30. XD

Besides the brighter screen and insanely small size, there really isn't anything different with the Micro. I think that Nintendo was just trying to attract "image conscious" consumers.

Ah, I see. Well I'll just be buying a DS sometime this year and that should do.
I really want MP Hunters and it's apparently coming out on the 25th of May this year over here.
