can you associate powers with the ranks? like for example: having a rank that can edit other peoples posts, or having a rank that gives you a different color name?

Powers, no. Different colors and stuff like that, yes. I'm considering changing colors and stuff, but I'm not sure if I will yet.

I was told colors too... Hmm... You can change the rank color by adding <font color='######'>Koopa Troopa</font> in the edit member groups. I used my current rank in the example but remember to use the ' and not the normal " in the HTML. If it doesn't work with ' then Proboards has fixed that small difference and Conforums hasn't.

function doitnow(user,effect) { for(var a=0;a<document.links.length;a++) if(document.links[a].href.indexOf('action=viewprofile&username='+user) != -1 ) document.links[a].style.cssText=effect; }
doitnow("admin","color:FFFF00; width: 1"); //insert above line for more names // --> </script> There's the one to change JSR's color. But you have to add the doitnow line for every member you want to change color.
