Why did you choose Proboards over Invisionfree? Just out of curiousity, because, honestly, i do think IF is the better service.

Even though Invisionfree is a more reliable service, it doesn't have as much customization possibilities. There are many, many additions one can add to ProBoards. Personally, I would prefer YaBB.
Anyways, that's the main reason I would choose PB over IF, but JSR's reasons might be different.

I personally like IF better, but PB just has easier custimization. If you bother paying cash for forums Invisions pwns PB. LIke you canadd and image gallery and other cool stuff.

Yeah, Proboards is much easier to use. Don't you mean customize? Proboards hosts a lot of forums and when you add scripts it can really slow down. Just take a look at your PM box. It can take a few seconds to load on Broadband. |

Don't you mean customize? Proboards hosts a lot of forums and when you add scripts it can really slow down. Just take a look at your PM box. It can take a few seconds to load on Broadband. Doesn't really slow down for my computer. |

Well, overall, I just feel that it's easier to customize ProBoards than IF. There are sites dedicated to adding new features to PB through various Javascript codes. I don't think IF has anything quite like that. O.o Of course it does. It has www.ifsz.net/ it is mostly for skins, but it has a lot of codes. You could also go to the support board for a full list of available code scripts. There are a lot of sites dedicated to customizing IF. |
