In just a few months the big event of the year will be upon us. This E3 plans to be the biggest one yet. This will be one event not to miss. I will be bringing you daily updates straight from the event. I really want to try and snag a few Q&A's from Reggie. If your hyped about a game or an announcement let it be heard and post it here. Plan on having this thread updated almost daily.
Legend of Zelda (GC)
Nintendo left us hanging after a surprise trailer at last years E3. No real update or news has been leaked since then. This is Nintendo's biggest game of the year. Promised to be fully playable this year, it is the one game every gamer wants to play. The only new thing that we know came straight from Nintendos mouth; "Winter 2005 in Japan and it will be very beautiful."
Geist (GC)
Nintendo wants to show everyone, mostly the media, that the "kiddie" comment is dumbfounded. They will never understand that the Big N makes games for everyone. All the media is concerned with if it doesnt say GTA or Halo than its kiddie. Geist has come a long way since it was first shown. Alot of people still believe that it will bomb and they shouldnt bother with it. Me however believe it is one not to miss. The FPS genre plus a the twist of being able of possession bodies intrigues me. Hopefully this May it will be 100% and fully playable at E3; if Nintendo is planning on getting it out on time.
Nintendo Revolution
The big thing this year will be the the unveiling of the next-gen systems. Nintendo is usually scarce on details at most of its unveiling, but I believe the Big N will let the cat out of the bag this year. They know that with Microsoft planning on releasing Xbox 2 at the end of 2005 thye need to "wow" the audience.
Castlevania DS
I have always believed that Castlevania's home was Nintendo. This seems untrue as Nintendo got royal screwed by Konami for this entire generation. No reason for the New Castlevania to be PS2 only. Only thing Konami seems to care about is the handheld market. I fear however that once the PSP arrives, that Konami will swiftly move the Castlevania series from Nintendo entirely.
This game is going to be one of the biggest releases for the DS this year. The action appears on the bottom screen, unlike so many other games. This adds alot more depth to the gameplay. Sicne the action is on the bottom screen, players can manipulate the game directly. Using the stylus players can draw spells and destroy things in their way. This will add a brand new dimension to the Castlevania games we have seen on the GBA.
