How did you get into gaming? Any special games/events?
Well...I got special treatment. My grandpa fixed arcade games, so I grew up on those. Grant you, I was born in '90, so I didn't grow up in the NES days. But yeah. Played a lot of Bubble Bobble, and my FAVORITE as a five year old, Mortal Kombat.
Besides that, I played a lot of HE games (Putt Putt, Spy Fox, etc.) and then I bought a N64, and the rest is history.
So, what about you.

I got a N64 in 1999 with Mario Party being the most recent game released.

Uh, where to begin... I was born a year after the NES was released (1986), and both of my parents loved video games (they had an Atari 7800 and an NES). I remember that when I was about two or three, I picked up a clunky 7800 controller and began to play my very first game: Pacman. It was more fun to watch Pacman's death animation rather than actually play the game, so I died on purpose a lot. After Pacman, I moved on to things like Joust (My mother's all-time favorite game, next to Dr. Mario) and Super Mario Bros (The very first game I had ever beaten). Back then, I was pretty good at the Mega Man games, and my first RPG (Dragon Warrior) confused me. My parents eventually got rid of both the Atari and NES in favor of the newer SNES, where I got hooked into Donkey Kong Country 2, Earthworm Jim, and Final Fantasy VI (III on the American system). After my brother got an N64 and a copy of Star Wars Podracer, I was pulled into 3D games and picked up Starfox 64 and got Mario 64 as a birthday gift. Eventually, he gave the N64 to me, and I had just enough cash for a Gamecube. Thusly, I got one and a copy of Sonic Adventure 2 (which I eventually sold to EB). After I finally got a job, I picked up on the GBA, had a blast with games like Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Wario Ware. Then I got a DS and Mario came with it (I gave the GBA to my Tales-maniac sister). Then, I finally got a new NES from a coworker at my job, along with 22 games (more than half of which are games no one would care about in any number of years. Anyone psyched for Who Framed Roger Rabbit? ...Anyone?). So, in all, I have been playing games for roughly 15 or 16 years, and have become almost unstoppable in multiplayer (However, I have been defeated several times by my pupil of gaming: my not-Tales maniac sister). This also means I don't have a girlfriend, and have never had one... It's not that I'm ugly or have a horrible personality or reputation, it's that I've never really devoted any time to that kind of thing. No tears here, though.

Back when I was three or so, the daycare I went to had a NES and Super Mario Bros. I played it, even though I had no clue what I was doing. And, as the saying goes, the rest is history...
