You know this one. You get marooned on an island that, surprisingly, has electricity and online and all that. So, if you were to marooned on such an island, which games would you bring with you? (To a maximum of six)
Mine would be... Viewtiful Joe Earthbound Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow Castlevania 3 Zombies Ate My Neighbors! Resident Evil 4
And, yeah... I loooooooooooove toasting zombies!

Mario Kart DS. I know it's not out yet, but based on the demo I've played, it's definitely a game that I always go back to. As for the other games that I would bring, I'll get back to you on that.

@ JSR. You played a demo? Where? *has yet to play MKDS * Anywho, I'd bring all online games, so that I could get OFF the island. Socom 3 Mario Kart DS Battlefield 2 (duh!) Animal Crossing Wild World Metroid Prime Hunters World of Warcraft Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Of course, I'd be stranded after Q2 2006.

Hmmm.
Perfect Dark - Best shooter of all time in my book, never gets boring. Perfect Dark Zero - I need a next generation game Final Fantasy X - I never have done everything all the way through, should keep me ocupied. Zelda WW - Well it would be a fitting game Mario Kart DS - not played it but I know it will be one of the best if not the ebst handheld games of all time I can't think of the rest now, so many good games.

Wait wait wait... Perfect Dark? Look, PD is one of the most overrated pieces of trash I've ever played. Rareware needs to focus on bringing Battletoads back instead of making a sequel to that unforgivingly boring game. I mean, if they were releasing a new Battletoads instead of PD Zero, I'd have bought an X360.

OK now you have stepped over the line.
Firstly, Perfect dark is not overated, to be honest it is a very underated game, not many casual gamers could name it for one, they would say goldeneye, halo and timesplitters but not perfect dark. The only way you can consider it overated is if you look at the magazine scores and even then it is hardly overated, for one of the best games of all time, it is rated quite low in some of them.
Secondly, it is not boring, the storyline was full of twists and turns and it still probably has the best multiplayer of all time. There is nothing like fighting a perfect sim with your best buddy in the middle of the night, I have never played a game which has been able to recreate these moments and I doubt I ever will with perfect dark zero not being as good as the original.
But still, there is nothing wrong with the original, it has the element of stealth a game like timespitters didn;t have, the actualy ability to shoot humans like everyone wants to, that halo didn't have. OK you could probably name other shooters which are good but it will still be able to beat it.
And if you think it is overated becuase you think goldeneye is better, well that is just sad, perfect dark is better than goldeneye in every aspect even though it is a fantastic game.

a) I don't like Goldeneye. b) I don't care about what you say... I just think PD sucks, and it IS overrated. It might not roll off of everyone's tongue like GTA (A game series that is obscenely overrated), but when it does, it's usually on a positive note. When I played it, people told me how "good" it was. How it was an FPS that would change the world. I was convinced, so I picked it up. With the first level, things were going OK. The graphics weren't horrible, the enemies were fairly intelligent, the story was interesting... And then it happened: Level 2. By level 2, I was getting bored with the map layout. It was like I just blinded myself and walked down a hallway filled with buzzsaws and alligators. The enemies, while numerous, were now beginning to shoot eachother for no apparent reason. Heck, they even began to sense my presence from other rooms. But the challenges they threw at me here were good at least. Level 3: BAM! Like running into a wall. I have to backtrack Level 1, now with a floating computer at my side. Guess what: this is the beginning of the FPS cliche called "escort missions". No matter what I did, the terrorists kept firing at the computer and killing him. When I finally shot the bastards BEFORE they killed him, I was treated to fighting a helicopter, which was a nice touch, balanced by (at this point) enemies who were either mentally retarded (Run into walls, shoot eachother) or severely unfair (Would pop a slug into the floating computer just as he entered the room). As I continued into the game, I gradually grew less and less interested in it. It wasn't the kind of suck that made me turn the system off. It was the kind of suck that would creep up on an unsuspecting gamer and bore him to death. I got about as far as the Chicago level, then decided to screw it. It isn't by any means a truly awful game... It's just that I was told it was good. I spent a considerable amount of money on it. And for me, it didn't deliver the excitement that Rare (And the shmucks who talked me into getting it) promised me. That hurt, and it made the situation worse. Unnastan'?

Well I thought the 3rd level was pretty good to be honest.
Saying that though, it did help if you locked the computer downstairs while you went upstairs in the lift.
Anyway, I can't change your opinion so meh.
