Yay! Chibi Robo is finally coming into the light. According to the newest Nintendo Power issue, Miyamoto-san got involved with the game. It is now crazier than I thought it was, but that is a good thing. You play as a small robot who is no bigger than an Oreo cookie. He is a maintinence droid who lives in a house full of unusual characters: a loser dad who spends all his time and money on toy collecting; a stressed-out mom who desires a normal life and will do ANYTHING to get it; and a daughter who thinks she is a frog. The family isn't the end of it: the toys are all bizarre. A dog's chewtoy falls in love with the spaceman action figure who patrols the house. Egg soldiers are demanding recruits. The list continues. Seriously, I can't be more excited about this game. It's finally coming stateside; yippeee! Hopefully, it'll have a cult following, like Katamari Damacy. Twilight Princess isn't the only GCN game I look forward to in 2006. Discuss.

As dumb as the concept behind Chibi-Robo might sound to some people, I think that it has a lot of potential. Sure, you have to do random cleaning around the house... But a normal house to you and me is a giant, crazy world to the robot. I'm definitely interested in Chibi-Robo, and I'll probably pick up a copy when it comes out in February.

This game came out in Japan this year and I own it. I've got no problem going out on a limb and saying that even with all of the other games in 05..this is my favorite game of the year. I can't express how much I really do enjoy this game. Buy three copies when it comes out and spread the joy to your friend(s).

The game seems interesting. It's one of those games Nintendo sends out for free to get some buzz going because they don't know if it will sell or not. I probably wouldn't get around to buying it, but I'm always open to taking donations from NOA.

None of my outlets seem to have available reservations for it, so that means I'll have to wait and wait wait waaait for it to show up in their database. Plus, I live in a backwater town whose local government cares more about tourism rather than the people who actually live there, so the game will probably arrive a month late. I hate my town.
