This is the topic. You are picking on a character that you have no reason to pick on, because you havent played his game (at least not for long). Under your reasoning I could attack Shadow because he's a sonic rip-off and just another crappy character for Sonic Team to cash in on. I dont necessarily think that, but since we are bashing characters whose games we havent played, I might as well. The point is, stop attacking characters from games you haven't played. If you havent played GTA, dont trash Tommy Vercetti either. I HAVE played through VC and I can say agree with what you said about him, but mindless bashing is not cool. At least bash characters from games you have played a la Jason and Ty. Kratos +1

To that extent, I've never played a Ty game. And why should I?

If I lived by this maxim, I'd really be an idiot. I don't need to jump off a cliff to know I'm gonna splatter at the bottom.
And if you guys really want me to make a fair judgment, tell me Kratos' backstory. I don't have access to God of War, period. If you don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't played the game, you could just PM it to me. Then I'll make a fair judgment as to whether he's lame or not.

P.S. By the by, I have played both GTA 3 and Vice City. My friends have PS2s.

Very true.
However, I just never thought he was THAT cool. I kinda think it's more like in the case of the Metroid games... I don't think they suck. But people trumpet them no matter where I go. It gets irritating.

I've recieved this lots. And. Lots. Of times. And it happened here, too! I just state an opinion... and... boom. I'm automatically wrong.
I am glad you think Kratos is cool or whatever, but keep in mind that no matter how cool you think a character is, there's always gonna be someone to challenge that. It irritates me as much as it does the next guy, but it's something we gotta deal with. Thanks anyway.
EDIT: About the Ty-Jay therrng... Sumimase. I must have read it wrong. I have the tendency to read too fast and miss important things. Stupid me.

Hey, you know who else gets no respect? The Prince of All Cosmos. People keep referring to the King of All Cosmos so much, they forget the hero of the game. Princes need lovin' too.
As far as bashing characters I DO know and hate, I could just flame-broil Alfred Chicken... But nobody likes him anyway!
