Which part of a game (any game at all) took your breath away, or astounded you in such a way that you were either left confused or in awe? For me, it was all of the insanity effects of Eternal Darkness (One of the best survival horrors evar!). Half the time, I really DID think I was losing my mind. When the "Disc Read Error" popped up, I was like "Ha ha, nice try, you stupid game! You don't fool me! You're trying to trick me! I'm not gonna fall for it. Nope. I'll just sit here and wait for the game to resume." I waited for about three minutes before I realized the game really DID have an error. Or did it? I shut off the Gamecube, and turned it back on after I tried to clean off the disc. It had another "error" during the game. I was all "ARRGH! What's WRONG?!" I turned off the Cube just as the insanity effect wore off. Then I REALLY screamed. Heh. I'm sure you've all had memorable moments with your games. Which one(s) do you recall?

Heh. ED always messes with people's heads. As for me, I was very impressed with the visor effects in Metroid Prime. I don't know why, but I thought that the way that rain splashed against the visor, heat caused it to steam up, etc., was amazing.

The graphics in MP were beautiful, and the visor effects proved it. Anyone who disagrees (Like my cousin) will promptly be sent into outer space via pig-tickling. Say hi to my cousin on the way there.

The first time I booted up F-Zero GX. The speed in that game is like no other, and totally blew me and my friends away the first time we played it. Also the insanity effect in ED when it pretends to erase your memory card almost gave me a heart attack. Damn you Silicon Knights

That's never happened to me... But there have been several others... Like when I tried to reload my gun, it went off on me and "killed" my character... Or when my character began to shrink... or when the room I entered was completely upside-down...
