It's actually hilariously bad now... I remember watching it as a youngster, but now that I look at it... It's just disturbing. King Hippo is blue-skinned for no reason and blatantly flaunts moobs (IN A KID SHOW!!). Eggplant Wizard poops vegetables every time he gets knocked around, uses a banana as a gun, and sounds like a mama's boy getting strangled with a sausage while being forced to eat a water balloon. Simon Belmont, Pit, and Mega Man's designs are each completely off. That doesn't even begin to compliment Mother Brain, who looks like my grandmother's face stretched out in a glass tube filled with water.
Ah, 80's nostalgia, you two-faced monster.

When I was in first or second grade, my school had a Captain N comic book. I used to read it all the time... But when it comes to the show, I don't remember watching it much. The Super Mario Super Show, on the other hand, was one of my favorite cartoons.

Video game-related TV, movies, comics, whatever; most of it ends up being pretty bad. I'm surprised Archie hasn't stopped making Sonic comics (Their storylines have gotten worse and worse).
