I am what you can call a typical gamer. I love action games, it gives me an adrenaline rush every time I get shot at. After awhile, I get bored and I switch to t.v. This is basically my average day.
Can anyone else relate or am I talking to people with active lives?

Umm.. actually.. n00b is the offensive term.

Noob is meant as an offensive term towards someone who is not nessicarily new, and quite often is directed at someone that is |somewhat| experienced but at the same time stupid/disruptive and/or totally incapable of learning.
A noob is almost always someone who thinks they're cool but obviously aren't. Also used in 1337speak.

Newb is not meant to be offensive. newb merely states that the person in question is new to the game/board/whatever.

I know it... People who call others "n00bs" ought to realize that nobody ever starts out an expert. I looked back at some of my artwork back when I was ten, and it looks like crap, nothing like what it is today.
