This computer is being refurbished after being found in the dumpster.. and I ain't able to refurbish very fast... so here it goes... REMEMBER: THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS. It does work.
This computer may seem like sh*t right now, but it runs much much faster and better once I got it and started working on it. It would not load ANYTHING fast, not even folders fast. It would take over 2mins to open up ONE folder. Now they load up almost instantly. Just goes to show the original owner doesn't know how to take care of anything. I have been slowly working on it as much as my budget allows me to.
OS: Windows 98 SE Processor: 1-AMD Thunderbird, 750MHz, 256KB RAM: 64MB (I just ordered a stick of 256MB, so I'll soon have 320MB total after I get that. I'm still waiting to get 2 more sticks, once I get the money) HDD: Supposed to be 15GB, but it's actually being read has 14.3GB. This is the next thing to get upgraded after I get all my RAM. I'm gonna get an 80GB HDD. Graphics: nVidia Vanta, 32MB I believe. Sound Card: Not exactly sure if it's onboard, but I believe it is. It's a Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI 128D. Monitor: Standard CRT Monitor, 15", 1024x768 Resolution, 32bit color.

My computer... uh... Man, this is the time when I wish I had a good memory. Let's see, here now,... *DVD Drive *CD Burner *Floppy Drive, standard issue *ATi TV CPU system which allows me to play Gamecube and Nintendo 64 games on my computer monitor. This is how I get most of my Gamecube pics (It has a screenshot option). *Scanner and color printer, plus Paperport. *Flat-screen monitor. *Norton Antivirus *Pop-Up Blocker *Faster Internet service (Can't remember its name).
And that's it. I'm really not into tech specs, so I wouldn't know how fast it is, or what fancy microchips are in it.

...wow...if I had the money I would jsut get anew computer. ...no offence but your computer kinda sucks... 1) I DID say the computer doesn't have the best specs, so next time, keep your comments to yourself. <_< Plus, I AM UPGRADING IT. 2) I ain't buying a new computer. At all. This is a project to teach myself how to rebuild computers, and get more knowledge about them. Another reason I ain't getting a new computer, is I'm gonna be moving to Australia, and moving a computer with me from the states is gonna be like hell, and I'll have my boyfriend help me build up a computer that's better than some of the ones out of the shelves. He's a computer, and electronic technician, so there ain't gonna be any problems there.

Yeah.. If I can get this computer good enough to eventually run Age of Mythology and Age of Empires 3 fine, once I get those games, then I'm perfectly happy. I'm not a big PC game fan, so I only really need something powerful enough that can play the four games I wanna own.. And so I can have Paint Shop Pro as well.
Zoo Tycoon (I got all the first ones, need the second ones) Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings + Conquerors (Own it) Age of Empires III Age of Mythology + Titans
Now, my older computer worked fine, it was much better than this one, but my dad did buy it for $500, so yeah. Here were it's specs...
For this computer I got a better webcam and the same kind of headset.

- Intel P4 3.0GHz - 1GB DDR RAM - 250Gb HDD - DL DVD-/+RW & DVD-R Drives - ATI Radeon X300 SE (128Mb) - On-board sound card - 19" Gateway LCD - XP Media Center (It's a Gateway 820GM btw)
It's really my Dad's computer, but he always uses his laptop, so he lets use it. : ) However I really want to build my next computer, I love playing with electronics. (particularly computers)
