Does anyone still download demos of the net? i still do, in fact, i just downloaded the demo of half life 2. Does anyone still do this though?

Yeah, HL2 took like 3 hours to download, and i dont really have that time. Its like, Dude, i got broadband just so i can avoid long waits!

Because sometimes the servers are slow, you get speeds like 120kb/s.

mine is limited by a semi broken wifi adapter. i can only get speeds up to 24mbps.

my adapter is hindered by damage, so it can only go at 24mbps when it is supposed to go at 54mbps.
