Despite sony being gready sons of bi**hes, some of their affilites make awesome games. Like, for example, Insomniac Studios. I love the Ratchet and Clank universe, in fact, i love just about every game that they make! When i saw Resistance: Fall of man, I quickly began to fell that that game might be worth the PS3 price tag! It looked that good! I will still get a wii, but i need a job in order to afford a ps3, maybe ps3 has a little fight in it.

OK, if you're gonna get a console for just one game, you need to get your head examined. If I were you, I'd wait for a console to acquire at LEAST 10 interesting games.

-RE5 (if i get the ps3)

If you look at all those games, they are all for the Hardcore gamer. This is why we need change in the industry
Oh and 8-Days looks horrific.

i dont understand what you mean? I am a hardcore gamer. I enjoy fast-paced action games, but i also enjoy some RPG's, Sims, and puzzle games.

I love Metal Gear Solid. Metal Gear Solid 4 is currently announced only for ps3. ps3 is 600 dollars. I refuse...even for my third favorite (next to Zelda and Metroid) franchise in history...to pay 600 dollars for a game. PS3 FTL

you can get a ps3 in the us for 399.00, i heard, with a 20 gb hd and no wifi.(dont worry about the internet, psonline sucks bunghole anyway!) And a 499.00 ps3 will come with a bunch of other crap includeing wifi. I heard that the ps3 will probably raise the price tag due to them losing too much money selling it for that price. i can live with a 20 gb hdd, its better then nothing, and the wifi is a hit in the crotch, but i can get a really cheap and reliable wireless gamebrige. Also, im going to get both the wii and the ps3, but the ps3 i need a job to get.
I dont understand why people are so surprised at the price tag, actually, it happened before. (The N64 was $150 and the playstation was $399, and sony still sold a crap load of psones.)

um, sorry bout that price thing, i ment to put 500-600, my point is, im not poking holes in anyones consoles, cause i dont care. i actually read that though off of the internet. i think the site was cnet or something. what i mean to say is that both consoles look awesome, and people will buy both systems, no matter what it costs

Resistance: Fall of Man actually looks like it'll be a really good launch title. The game looks better to me than Red Steel. Nintendo has a lot of games I want, but at the same time so does Microsoft with the 360 & Sony with the PsP as well as the PS3.
I had over 400 DvDs which I got rid of most of them. I plan on getting them all again on either Blu-Ray & HD DvDs. Sure the PS3 is 600 dollars, but for someone like me who's going would be looking to buy a BluRay Player anyway...600 dollars for a PSOne, PS2, PS3 DvD & Blu-Ray player is no questions asked a first day buy for me.
I look forward to playing WarHawk on day one with the PS3 just like I played it on day one with the Playstation launch.
