It's the opposite for me. the more I know about the game, the lazier I get and just try to power my way through the whole thing. I lent FFVII to a friend, and I lent him my memory card as well, and he just couldn't get to a certain point in disc 1, which one of my files was at. it was like rocket town. Forgot how many hours though.

I'm near the end of disc 3 for IX.
I'm just addicted to digging up treasures with the Chocographs at the moment. Hehe.
In the actual storyline I'm just about to go to Shimmering Island. But Not until I had enough diggin'.
