Do you think that PC gaming is on a downfall? I believe that the consoles are starting to take over, if they arent already. Most of the best games out there where PC games.

PC gaming is never dead. Infact, they never really have a dry season. They have more devlopers for the PC than any other system, and people keep trying to improve them. Also alot of indi-developers are always coming up with new quirky games for free.
PC is still alive, and consoles, while popular, are still not king over the PC, however I'd rather be on a console than a PC, because it is more accessbile to me than my PC which isn't even set up.

PC Gaming will always be popular because there are a core group of gamers who believe and always will believe that the PC is the best platform for gaming because of its upgradeable power. Especially shooter fans. Even if console gaming sees its best generation yet, there is still going to be that diehard group of fans that will stick with PC.

right, but it is still possible that consoles will dominate the pc. im not saying that it might happen soon, im just saying that it might happen.
I am a huge PC gamer, i love gaming on my pc, infact, i prefer it more then consoles, because you can upgrade your pc to get better performance, and see things that you couldnt see before, and moddify things that you thought couldnt be done, unlike consoles.

I could never see consoles dominating PC gaming. I can see consoles being really popular, but I've always noticed more people playing a PC game than a console game at any time.
- first real gaming system
- first online gaming communities
- easy to access games
- expansions
- mods, hacks, etc...
- PC games seem better on PC than on any other system
