I am really excited about CoD4, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, and RE5. I'm about an hour into the thing.

Well, the conference is pretty okay. Nothing completly suprising.
Microsoft has a great lineup for the fall and the holidays(Halo 3, GTA IV(with some exculsive content), CoD4, Viva Pinata, Assasins Creed). The X360 Halo 3 console should make many diehard Halo fans very happy. ^_^
And it looks like Microsoft won't drop the price for the holidays. They're pretty comfortable where they are now despite Sony slashing the PS3 price $100 less just recently.

OOOOOOOOOOOOO! I agree, maybe MS didn't have any big news, but they sure have a lot of good looking games coming out.

I think MS messed up. They announced Gears and Viva Pinata for PC. Now the only reason I want the system is for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect. Speaking of Mass Effect, its developed by Bioware which means it will probably make it to PC. Scratch that. 2 games.

There is always that PC vs. Console controls debate, plus for the PC, you need LOTS OF POWER! And I can imagine you'd need Windows Vista too since they are games with LIVE.

Yeah, there's that. If I had to choose, my PC's lame for games so I'd go for the console version.
All I have to wait for is whatever RPGs they have coming along (particularly Eternal Sonata, for some reason), but I probably won't even get to play those since my brother's a Halo nut AND will be a college freshman by the time it comes out.

He's got a good point, Richard. I can't imagine playing a game as frantic as Gears of War with a mouse and keyboard. It's a shame that MS isn't lowering the price of their system fast enough; I want one, but I want one that's reasonably priced.

And if you think about it the PC gaming and the console gaming communities are both different. Sure you have your people who play console games and PC games, and vica versa, but as far as hardcore, PC people will most likely have a better PC setup than can play those games. They haven't announced it at E3 about the price due to everything is pretty much planned out before hand, and since the PS3 price drop and the 80GB were announced right before E3, Microsoft will probably have an announcement after E3 about the price. Analysts are saying probably about $350 for the Pro and $250 or the Core. Still not quiet as bad as what it could be. It is still a better price than the PS3.
