I'm a little late with this. Did anyone check out SquareEnix Party 2007? Nope? Well then be glad I am your loving, caring, most awesome friend ever. Well Final Fantasy: Dissidia (or FFD or DFF, whatever) is the 20th anniversary project of SquareEnix. This game is basically an all-star cast of Final Fantasy characters. Here is a 2 minute trailer that features Cecil, Kain, Zidane, Kuja, and Sephiroth. Who else will it contain? I dunno. All I know is that it is headed for the PSP and no NA or EURO release is stated. Zidane looks cool. At least now he looks a little bit more manly than he used to. Add Vivi, some FF6 and FF8 characters and it'll be good to go for me.

I think they are adding at least one character from each FF game. I'm not sure.

Oh, come on... it's a PSP game? Timing couldn't have been worse. The PSP is starting to get good games right when it's entering its twilight period. (And, predictably, Sony is too arrogant to lower the damned price tag.)

The PSP is getting a new design... hopefully it would get a lower price.

All they do is attatch a random number to the machine alongside their company name, and it'll sell.

Well no. Actually the PS3 they sold for $600, but to actually manufacture a unit would cost them $700. Sony doesn't pull a random number out of their ass, they actually lose money from the systems they sell. They get the money from the games and accessories.
Remember when market analyists were predicting the PSP to cost $300-$400?
I would, however, enjoy a PSP price-drop. It would make me want to buy one. Hahaha. However, is the system region locked, because of those updates, or can you still import games and have no problems with them?

I've read that you can modify your PSP to do things like that, but one wrong move and your PSP could become bricked. btw, when it first came out, the PSP WAS $300-$400, when budled with a bunch of games no one in their right mind would want to play.

Whenever a new system comes out, stores always bundle crap with them.

I think all of the launch games are region free, but I don't know beyond there.
