Stupid story.
I turned 17 yesterday and I walked into a Gamestop right next to the bike shop I was at. I bought Max Payne and Max Payne 2 for the Xbox, and they were like "sir, do you have ID" and I'm like "**** yeah, I have my ID".

I remember back when I first got my ID and bought my first M-rated game. "Sir, do you have an I.D.?" "Sure, here you are." "Dude, this one's fake. You look like a fifteen-year-old." (PJ's note: I actually do look years younger than I actually am. I call it the "Jim Carrey syndrome." ) "Whatddaya mean? I'm old enough. I got my ID. You're not serious, are you?" "Then why are you here with your dad?" "Because this store is too far to walk to, I asked him to drive me here." "So you don't even have your own car?" "No. Is that a problem?" "So, you have an ID, but no car. I'm also willing to bet that you don't have a girlfriend yet?" "Just let me buy the damn game before I get your manager to beat on you with a big stick."

What's funny is the first time I tried to buy an M rated game when I was 17, I had my ID all out and ready and then they didn't ask for it. Same thing happened when I went to see an R rated movie. In fact, I think I've only been asked to show ID (for age purposes) once

I was 17 at the time, so it was all good. They've never checked me at the movies, I guess I look my age.

Even when I had parents with me. I never get bugged at the movies though. Lol. But games, I don't get it.

So they either don't pay attention, or you guys look older than you actually are.

I bought RE4 way back when. I remember I wrote an explanation saying that I could handle it and he watched me get it (I was twelve, I look my age I'd say). I really couldn't, hahaha.
