Wow, that's a tough one... For now, I think I'm going with the DS Lite. There's a huge selection of top-notch games on the system, plus it was the first Nintendo console to support online play (excluding Phantasy Star Online on GameCube). On top of that, the DS Lite is simply sleek. It's tied with the Wii for Nintendo's best design ever. But like I said, it's tough to pick just one system.

SNES all the way! My first Nintendo machine, and it was my baby! I loved that thing, more than myself, which is quite evident, lol. It was the machine that opened up Mario, Lugi, and Yoshi to my world..plus sucko games like Beethoven and Aladin too...

SNES was my pick. It was the first system I bought with my own money, and I was only 5. Some of my favorite games are on that system, and so are many other classics. Final Fantasy II, FF III, Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, Super Metroid, Mega Man X, and so many other kick ass games.

Super Nintendo had Super Metroid, Earthbound, Final Fantasy VI, Link to the Past, Yoshi's Island, Megaman X, Castlevania IV, F-Zero, Mario World, Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy IV, and Super Street Fighter II. Namely, it has all the games that truly began to streamline the videogame industry, therefore entitling it to the coveted "Greatest Game Machine Ever Made" award. But I'm not going to think so. Gamecube was the very first system I'd ever bought with my own money (My family was VERY poor back then). The first game I'd bought for it was Sonic Adventure 2, and around that same time, I rented Mario Sunshine. I ended up exploring two new worlds that I had never before seen, accompanied by old friends (Mario and Sonic) while confronting new enemies (Shadow and Baby Bowser).

It's N64: Mostly for SM64, WaveRace 64, OOT, Majora's Mask, Mario Kart 64, Sin and Punishment(Japan only game I have never played before), Mischief Makers(another game I haven't played yet), Rareware games(such as GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct Gold, Jet Force Gemini, Conker's BFD, Blast Corps, etc), and third-party games like Ogre Battle 64, MKTrilogy and Harvest Moon 64(yet another game I haven't played yet).
But despite this prefrence of mine, each Nintendo console and handheld has it's own share of great games that makes it even more difficult for me to choose which Nintendo console is the best, IMO.

For my favorite system I pick the original DS. Why cuz its what I currently own and get the most joy out of. Ive played some of the others but for me the DS is the best yet.

The SNES was epic. So many great games...
Either SNES or NES. I was raised on them both at the same time, they're both dear to me as far as video games are concerned.

Looking back here now, I can say it's very hard to decide which Nintendo system had the best games. I still play Conker's Bad Fur Day from time to time on my N64, and I keep coming back to my Earthbound ROM for some reason. I wish I hadn't sold Contra... But I did need the money. Every Nintendo system has nearly twenty games that you would just play over and over again, so it's hard to decide which one you'd pick as your favorite.
