Well, I'm fairly excited about RN 6.0, it's quite different than before, and now that MasTa is co-webmaster, sort of, you are open to plenty of things. Like... 1) Double reviews; Since the two of you are webmasters, both of you are capable of reviewing a game, and you're able to keep it a little unbiased, like unknownDUST's post a little while back. Heck, a cool scenario would have the two of you, and you both have the latest Nintendo game, and you both debate about the goods and bads about the game, so you get more than one point of view in a single review. The easiest way to do something like this is to have the two of you IM each other about the game, and when you're finished, one of you saves the conversation, deletes all of the unimportant stuff, and posts it on RN. It seems like a great idea to me, or you could have a "versus" type review, where each of you picks a game, and both games relate to each other, and you talk about various features and then decide what's better, for example, one of you plays SSBM, and the other plays Digimon Rumble Arena 2 (it relates, it's the same style, after all), and you then decide on which of the two is better. 2) Double the admins; Well, technically MasTa would have to get ranked up for this, and I don't know if you plan to, JSR (just one of the good things that'll come from this merge), but it'd help; since you do travel occasionally, MasTa's still here to watch over the place while you're gone. But MasTa still does fine as a Mod, and I don't think he'd need most of the Admin powers... unless he wanted to invent a new board as a joke ... Anyway, and since you're co-web master, you don't have to stick with everything at once; not a good news anchor? No problem, MasTa does a fine job of reporting stories, and if he does the news at RN, well, that's cool (can't think of any happy things, I'm sorta braindead right now ). Well, that's all I can think of, but it would be cool if they were to happen!

Will the site have a new location after the release of v6, or is that classified information as well?

You didn't mention the reviews I can do.

You didn't mention the reviews I can do. Right, cause neither of us are webmaster. Of course are reviews do count, however, since fan-submitted content is a huge part of RN. Just that a Review/Debate style thing seems like a good idea now that there're two web masters instead of one.

Well, that's all I can think of, but it would be cool if they were to happen! Thanks for the suggestions, Symph. Here are my responses: 1) That's a pretty good idea, but there's a major problem with double reviews: There's a good chance that one of us won't have the game. For example, I don't want to not add a review to RN just because MasTa might not own the game. So, while it sounds like a good idea on paper, I don't think it's very practical. However, to help cut back on any possible bias, there is going to an entire staff for RN v6 and this means that different people will review the games. That should remove any possibility of all games getting good scores. Plus, there's a good chance RN will have Staff Roundtables where we'll discuss different games and gaming news. 2) MasTa and I are going to work out the whole Admin rank issue for the forums. But, he will be a co-admin of the actual site.

It's what sets RN apart from all the other websites I go to... kind, informative, and always letting me know I'll be welcomed back again a second visit. Just like the guy who served me at GameStop the other day; very professional 1) Well, yes, all reviews don't HAVE to necessarily be double reviews. Just when a MAJOR, like next Zelda major, game comes out and you both have it, but for other games, it can just be a one-person review. And staff, huh? That sounds really fun. I'd like to see how that works out. I just hope that doesn't eliminate fan submits.... 2) Alright, sounds good. Still, even if I did bring this up in my previous post, unless MasTa was told to make a new board or re-code the forums, he can do everything you can.

So it's going to be more than just you and Masta?
That's good news. More people means more content, and that's always a good thing.
Oh, I see you changed your names to help with recognition with the site.

Heh, I want to reveal my name too. Then again, my real name's dorky... which adds to my nerdiness.

We'll have a review... Then, a little later on, we'll have a roundtable about that game. 2) Exactly. At this point, there isn't really a need for a second Admin.
