Random Nintendo v6 - Coming Soon

If you head over to Random Nintendo right now, you'll notice that the main page has changed. The change is because Version 6 (v6) of Random Nintendo is in the works.

Here's the official announcement on the site:

Random Nintendo has always been known for its unique content, in-depth reviews and interesting articles. Ever since RN 5.0 opened, RN's audience has grown and our goals have been reached.

However, we're not ready to stop. We want to take Nintendo coverage to the next level. RN is coming back with a whole new attitude, which promises to bring along the unique and engaging content you've come to expect.

But, that's not all! RN is going above and beyond by teaming up with fellow gaming site, Virtual Fusion. With these two visions merged into one, Random Nintendo will be able to provide daily news stories and more content than ever before.

About Virtual Fusion:
A little info on Virtual Fusion, the site RN is merging with: It was run by MasTaFUsion, a RN Forums moderator. The site had a dedicated staff and a lot of solid content. Unfortunately, Virtual Fusion never publicly launched. But now, VF is ready to bring its vision into the new RN.

For more information, head over to Random Nintendo. I hope you guys are looking forward to RN v6. It's going to be RN's biggest reinvention ever.

Wow, MasTa answering everyone's questions pretty fast.

Anyway, like he said, RN v6 will be opening sometime soon. The most detail I'm going to go into is that v6 will be up and running by the end of Q1 2005. All of the current content will be moved to RN v6 and the Virtual Fusion will help RN grow and become a bigger and better site.

As for the forums (which KOE asked about): Yes, they will be redone to match RN v6's layout.

Cool. Can't wait to see what the new forums will look like So submissions to RN are kinda blocked out right now, until 6 is up? Seems like a smart idea to me.
