Here is my review of Final Fantasy IV Advance that I just did for IGN.com user reviews. It is rather short, due to I just woke up and I wasn't used to the format of having to do the graphis, sound, gameplay, all of those things in seperate things. XD I know it isn't that great of a review, and hopefully I can take it down later and work on it.

Final Fantasy IV is one of the most popular games in the history of RPGs. It showed that a 16-bit SNES RPG could have a great story, cast of chracters, amazing music, and awesome gameplay. Original came out in the United States for the SNES under the title Final Fantasy II (which was the easy mode version).
I have been a Final Fantasy fan since I've had a SNES and got Final Fantasy II from Blockbuster. The game is as good as I remember it being from the early days, but it is even better that I could take it on the go.
For a port, it didn't have the feel of an emulator which is pretty good, and I'm happy about that.
Overall it is an awesome game that anybody into RPGs or the Final Fantasy IV series should pick up.
__________
Presentation 8.0
Thought that the packaging was nice looking, with the Yoshitaka Amano artwork. Instruction manual... wasn't really a bad instruction manual. Infact it seemed normal to me. I'll just give it an 8.0.
Graphics 8.0
Excellent 2D graphics. Sharpened since the original release. Nice monster and character sprite animations. Problem is like during battles there are slow downs.
Sound 9.0
The music is awesome, even with the beeps and boops. I guess all games are pretty much like that for the old classic systems and Gameboy games. Nobuo Uematsu is still widely respected and popular.
Gameplay 8.7
Excellent real-time combat, but nothing new if you've played the other Final Fantasy game. It is still really fun however, and doesn't take away from the game.
Lasting Appeal 5.0
This game doesn't have that much of a lasting appeal really. Nothing new happens after you beat the story and the new area. Should be played through at least once.
OVERALL 9.0
(out of 10 / not an average)
