Sorry this review might not be so well done. I'm at home sick currently, and I was bored. Enjoy.

Children of Mana is the latest in Square Enix's Mana series. Contains
the classic gameplay that is sure to bore RPG veterans, and maybe even
fans of the series. This is, however, a great game for people new to
RPGs and people of a younger audience. A shallow review for a shallow
game.
Story - There isn't much of a story, I can tell you that right now. The
plot is rather simple, and is a basic, save the world. Characters lack
personality.
Gameplay - The gameplay is rather simple and easy to grasp. This can be
a good thing or a bad thing. Most likely it will bore veterans of RPGs.
Graphics - The graphics are wonderful for a 2D game, and have that
hand-drawn look to them. Has a cartoony feel, but it isn't really that
bad.
Sound - Sound quality is good. The music is nice, but is rather forgettable.
Difficulty - The game is really easy. When I say easy, I mean it.
Monsters and bosses are weak. It's easy to avoid attacks. As soon as
you get the flail, all you have to do is keep hitting the X button in
the dungeons, and it's easy street from there on out.
Multiplayer - I never really got to play this much, but it is cool if
you are into multiplayer hack-n-slash games like Baldur's Gate and
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.
Overall - A generic and simple game that will surely disappoint RPG
veterans, and possibly fans of the Mana series. Good for beginners and
young children, and fans of multiplayer RPGs.
Pros:
- multiplayer
- simple enough for newbies to get into it
Cons:
- too simple for RPG veterans
- for an RPG, there is really no story
Graphics: 7/10
Sound: 7/10
Gameplay: 5/10
Overall: 7.0/10
