Chapter 1:
Trainer, the new Pokemon Trainer with a dream:
Trainer woke up at about 7:30 AM that morning. He looked at his clock: 7:31 AM.
"OH NO!!! I'm late I'm late!!!" He yelled as he got his clothes on and ran down stairs and took some toast and ran out the door, "Bye Mom!"
"By honey and be careful! See you there!" His Mom said waving goodbye, "Sigh they grow up so quickly."
Trainer lived in Pallet Town. His hero was Gary Oak. Trainer had always wanted to become a Pokemon Trainer. But there was something he wanted more: To Join the Famous and Legendary Team Shadow! He was to become a Pokemon Trainer so he could travel there. Little did he know that he was to embark on the biggest Adventure since Shaun Dill went to NOA. He was pretty small for his age. He was 12 at the time and was eager to have a Pokemon. He wanted a Shadow like Pokemon for he loved Team Shadow.
Trainer didn't know much about Pokemon and the types or strategy. He didn't know about Dark Type Pokemon. He thought they were Shadow Pokemon. So anyways:
Trainer was running to Oak's Lab where he was to get his first Pokemon. There was already a crowd and he saw 3 other people waving goodbye, they walked away and had PokeBalls. Trainer was ashamed that he was very late. He ran up the stairs and got to Professor Oak.
"Ah Trainer, I was worried you wouldn't make it," Prof. Oak said after greeting our hero, "Well since your late you will have to choose from another set of Pokemon. Here these should do: In this PokeBall is the Pokemon Houndour. In that one in the middle is Umbreon. And that one on the left is well...wait what was in that PokeBall?! I forgot! Well it's your choice."
Trainer was thinking deeply. He loved Houndour and Umbreon. But what about that unknown one? Hmm...maybe he should take a chance? Yes, he was going to take the chance!
"I choose the left one" Trainer said picking it up.
"Alright lets see what is inside," said Oak.
Trainer threw it and the light flashed as it opened. The Pokemon came out: It was.................a baby bird?!
"Oh my," said Oak, "That is a special Pokemon created from a combination of Zapdos and Unown. Very lucky you are. Here are the stats:
Zapnun
Type: Electric, Flying, Dark
Height: 1 ft 6 in
Weight: 26 lbs
Evolutions: Zapnun--->Zapnownus
Classification: Genetic
Description: Created by a group of scientists supervised by Professor Oak. Combining Zapdos's DNA and Unown's resulted, successfully, in Zapnun.
"Cool! A Shadow Pokemon." Said Trainer excited.
"Uh..Trainer it's called Dark. The type is Dark not Shadow," Oak corrected.
"Oh..okay I'll remember that!" Trainer said.
So Trainer left and went back home after meeting up with his mom.
"Okay so I have packed your supplies in this backpack. Be careful and don't trust strangers unless your life depends upon it...which I hope never happens."
"Okay Mom. Bye!" Said Trainer, "Oh my bike!" Trainer got out his bike and rode off to Viridian City.
"Bye Trainer I'll miss you! Come back!" Said his mom waving bye.
So the adventure has begun!
