Well, I'm too lazy to try it yet, but I've read the manual, and as far as i'm concerned it doesn't say how far the Wii should be from the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector for it to be able to connect. I haven't had the Wii and the computer on at the same time yet, but I'm just wondering if anyone has doen it already. My vomputer ios upstairs and my Wii is down stairs, so it'd be about 20 metres distance. Will it work?

I use the same connection as you do I'm about 10 metres away from the internet source and it has to travel through 3 walls but it's fine. It's gets a bit patchy sometime's but it's great!
Just try it out, all you have to do is press a button then you'll see whether it's okay.

The longer the cord, the weaker the signal, but a repeater fixes that.

How much does a repeater cost?

LOL! No wonder why. You should either move your router or get a repeater like Gray said.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Gray's idea because neither my USB or the Wii can move. Now I wonder where I can ge these "repeaters"... I've never seen them before. Or maybe I just don't pay much attention.

Same with me but I guess they basically repeat the same signal in another part of your home, clever idea really.
