Today as of 9 am PST, 4 new games are available for the Virtual Console:
Mario Kart 64 Contra III (SNES) Comix Zone (Genesis) Bonanza Bros (Genesis)
Of those, I personally downloaded Contra 3, and am looking to download Comix Zone soon, along with some other VC games I have been eying (namely R-Type III and F-Zero)

Well, to be perfectly honest, I've only played Contra III a few times and never got very far. :/

Mario Jart 64 is worth the download its blooming aweosme on multiplayer and the Gamcube pad works perfectly with the game (better than the N64)

Yeah, I got Mario Kart 64 too. It's a lot of fun, but Mario Kart DS has spoiled me... The fact that all I can do in single player are GPs and Time Trials is a bit disappointing.

Well, some games just don't age too well... It's a fact of life. Go back and play Altered Beast or Tales of Phantasia, they're two other victims of game-aging.

Mario Kart 64, while not as great as MK:DS, is superior to me because I don't have to have four systems to play four player. I loves me some four player, split-screen, Mario Kart 64 action Mario Kart 64 aged rather well--probably better than almost any other game from the psx/n64 era. Oh btw Pilgrim, you are soooooooo right about Altered Beast aging terribly. Damn you, VC purchase!!!

You can get a refund, right? Nope. Once you download a game, you're stuck with it.

WHAT ABOUT DIDDY KONG RACING AND DONKEY KONG 64!!!!!! Well Diddy Kong Racing was just released on DS... As for Donkey Kong 64, give it time. Nintendo seems to be mostly focusing on NES/SNES games right now, but I'm sure DK64 will eventually show up.

Nyaa, Virtual Console is really neat; I honestly prefer the VC library to the.. Wii game lineup lately. When I do get one, I'll probably stock up on Wii Points to get these. Just port the original Star Fox and Earthbound to it, and I'll be very happy! Well, there are a lot of games I'd like to see ported, but..
