IGN Wii has conducted an exclusive interview with the director of Killer 7, Suda, talking about his latest project: No More Heroes. Also, after hearing that Manhunt 2 is going to make an apperance on Wii in the summer, Suda is definitely willing to compete with Rockstar on making the game more violent than Manhunt 2:wii.ign.com/articles/765/765721p1.html

No More Heroes will be more violent than Manhunt 2? I'm guessing that Suda 51 never played the original Manhunt...

Or he did, and is just acting arrogant and challenging RockStar's definition of "edgy" material. For me, violence in games can't possibly be all that edgy. (Note to those who are going to blast me for my opinion on Manhunt: the reason why I hated it was because it wasn't well-designed, played like poop, and depended too much on an idea that I found neither tasteful nor edgy). Then again, this just means I might have to move my Wii out of the living room...

Suda wouldn't make that promise if he didn't plan on delivering on it. He's completely nuts, but he's a genius. No More Heroes will be awesome.

I'm guessing you're underestimating how insane Suda is. Okay, maybe that's it. Now that I think about it, No More Heroes' cel-shaded graphics do allow for the game to be more violent without necessarily causing more controversy than Manhunt 2.
