For those not in the know, Eyeshield 21 is a manga/anime that's about football. So why am I excited about Eyeshield 21 when it's about a sport I'm not interested in? One name: Yoichi Hiruma. Best support cast character ever. For those who'd like to enter the world of Eyeshield 21 before reading the rest of this post, look here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HC0_ux1q4VcThen wait to select the next few parts. The anime's awesome, but not as good as the manga. Anyway, I read on Wikipedia that Nintendo plans to make an Eyeshield 21 game for the Wii. Even though I usually never play sports games (Unless it's a Mario sports game), ES21 would probably end up being one of the sports games I'd actually play... ...That is, if it were planned for Stateside release, which it likely won't. It's already had games on PS2, PSP, and DS (Before Konami gave the reigns over to the Big N), none of which have been translated. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping to God that Nintendo releases ES21 Wii in the U.S. Discuss, if you'd like.

Nintendo was the one who brought it out on the DS. That game is one of my top games on my DS. I actually just got Eyeshield 21 for the Wii in the mail. I haven't gotten a chance to play it since i'll be playing God of War II tonight.

Crud, guess that means I'll have to pick up the DS Eyeshield... Does it have an English language option? I remember some Japanese games for GBA having that option...

No english options, but when you play just a single game its very simple to pick up in just a single play. The storyline is very text heavy and is all in Japanese.
