wii.ign.com/articles/783/783358p1.htmlGuilty Gear Coming to Wii A 2D fighter! by IGN Staff April 25, 2007 - Wii owners will be getting something that Cube owners missed out on all last generation. According to reports from Japan, the upcoming issue of Famitsu will contain first details on a Wii version of Guilty Gear X2 Accent Core. The Arc System Works fighter, which is set for PS2 release in Japan shortly, will also make its way to the Wii, with a Japanese release date planned for 7/26. We don't have any details just yet on what Wii owners can expect from the conversion. Once we have Famitsu in our hands later this week, we'll let you know if Arc System Works has somehow managed to sneak in a waggle mode. *crosses fingers for classic controller(traditional style), Wiimote/Nunchuk, and WFC support*
Oh, and by the way, ESRB updated their site in which the AoF(Art of Fighting) Anthology(which is coming to PS2 in may and on PSP. And is rated Teen), is now coming to the Wii.

Awesome! I already own the original Guilty Gear X2, what differences will we see for the Wii? Dust Strikers for DS was rather disappointing since it didn't take advantage of the touch screen for anything other than half-hearted minigames. Let's hope they don't repeat the same mistake.

First details confirm that GGX2AC Wii will indeed support both the Wiimote/nunchuck controls(a la MKA Wii demonstrated by Ed Boon), and the 'classic controller'(for fighting game traditionalists):www.cubed3.com/news/7390/1/Guilty_Gear_&_New_Gundam_0079_on_Wii,_Plus_More The game will come out 3 months after the PS2 version in Japan.
*NG now waits paitently for a confirmation of a Street Fighter Alpha Anthology: Wii edition announced by Capcom* ^_^Awesome! Dust Strikers for DS was rather disappointing since it didn't take advantage of the touch screen for anything other than half-hearted minigames. Let's hope they don't repeat the same mistake. I agree. GG: Dust Strikers was great in trying to move the GG series into a new direction with it's SSB/Jump Superstars style gameplay, but ultimately it failed. If Dust Strikers took the path of what Bleach DS is doing, it would've gotten better sales from the GG crowd and fighting game fans.
As for differences for the Wii version of GGX2AC, looks like the Wiimote/nunchuck motion sensing controls will be the only difference aside from classic conroller support, unless more details come up.

With classic controller support it's basically a no-brainer for me. I miss good ol' 2D fighters.

Well, i'm enjoying Capcom vs. SNK 2EO for GCN: The only 2D fighter on GameCube. Though, I have a lot more 2D fighters on Dreamcast. ^_^
I'm hoping third-parties like Capcom, Sega, Namco, or any other third-party fighting game developer takes the 'diverse controls' path[supporting all control schemes for diverse audiences(including traditional control)] that Arc Soft works(GGX2AC), and Midway(MKA) are doing when bringing fighting games to the Wii.

Dude. Don't make me wear a dress. Hey, you're the one who wants to play the reluctant transvestite... Who knows what other dark little secrets you've got.

I personally think that it's kind of intriguing while at the same time severely screwed up in the head. Then again, this is Japan, so maybe the nuclear radiation just happened to contaminate one more Azn creator.

He fights with a yoyo that's hard as steel. Before his birth, his aristocratic parents had moved to a smaller town to avoid all the fuss of city life. Unfortunately for them, it was a superstitious town. To them, the birth of twin boys spelled doom. So, in order to avoid unnecessary conflicts (Such as the villagers killing both their sons), Bridget's parents decieved everyone into thinking that Bridget was a girl. Thusly, he was raised to be a girl, but even though that's how they had raised him, his sexual confusion eventually erupted. He desired to prove he was masculine, so he runs away from home and becomes a bounty hunter. There. Reluctant transvestite. Put on some pants, girly man!

Yeah, and the sprites look great. Arc has really surpassed Capcom and SNK in that department.
