wii.ign.com/articles/786/786623p1.htmlSoul Calibur Set for Wii Namco changes genre for new installment. by IGN Staff May 9, 2007 - The Wii isn't known just yet for its vast array of 3D fighters. And surprisingly, that's not going to change even with the announcement of Soul Calibur Legends for the system. Namco has plans to bring the popular series to the Wii, but in an entirely different way than expected. First appearing in this week's issue of Famitsu, Legends is described as an action adventure game rather than a fighter. Set in the 16th century, players will be able to meet characters from the Soul Calibur world and experience sword-based combat that makes use of the Wiimote. Famitsu was able to unveil nothing more than a logo for the game and did not even provide a release date. We presume this means a release is a ways off.

OK. So long as Nightmare and Talim are still playable, I'm A-OK with that. Wait, will we see Link appear again?

For now, we may have to wait much longer for Namco to confirm more info about the game(from chacters, to how the gameplay works, etc.

SC Legends is going to be a Wii exclusive, so it's certainly possible that Link will end up in the game. But like NG said, nothing has been announced.

That, due to obvious reasons, is going to STAY exclusive. And in a dark, cold corner of his near-empty office, Ken Kutaragi is crying.

I'm going to have an amazing time with fighting games on the Wii ^_^ Pay attention, soldier! Soul Calibur Legends is an ADVENTURE game! Not a fighter! Yep, it's a spin-off, alright. ^_^ However, I probably wouldn't be suprised that since SCL is excusive to Wii, SCIV may very well be on all platforms, unless BandaiNamco announces it themselves(and they're bringing 37 games for Wii this year. More than what they're bringing for PS3(23) and X360(24).

The reason? Sales of PS3 software and the PS3 itself were dissapointing for BandaiNamco when they announced their financials as explained here:
www.sharewatch.com/story.php?storynumber=405737
Now, the possibilities: Many of those 37 could be original titles exclusive to the Wii, many of them could be ports/remakes from past consoles, and many of them could be brand new games that are multiplatform. So we'll have to wait and see what they are the moment BandaiNamco announces them. ^_^

The thing that surprised me was that they were all going to be out by the end of the year. It's already the middle of May, so these 37 games are gonna shoot out like a spray of bullets from Contra's Spread Gun.

Well I heard something about that most of the gaming compnies from sony are pulling out from the PS3 cuase they aren't making money because of the price of the PS3 and all. Also most of those game dev. companies are starting to side over to nintendo
