Yeah, there has to be at least one singer you like! I have to say that Imogen Heap probably restored my faith in music altogether, and she's just really friggin awesome at what she does. But oh well..
School starts on Wednesday. At first I couldn't wait. Now I'm terrified of starting.
Oh and hey Gray, would you think it'd be silly if I wanted to get an electric bass after practicing on a regular acoustic guitar for a few months? I'm really considering it.. I think basslines are more enticing than guitar solos for the most part. I.. think. o.o

I personally think that basses are boring, but they are pretty important for the most part.

I think it might suit me personally... I just kinda have a gut feeling. It seems more fun to me, but I'll have to wait and see.

I know that, but to me, and this is my personal opinion here, but i just think that basses are the lazy man's version of a guitar, you dont have to work as much with a bass in most songs alot of times. I love the sound of the bass, dont get me wrong or anything, but idk, its just not my favorite instrument.

Well I don't know, keeping up with a such a major part of a song is kinda rough for me. That's why I want to have a lighter instrument like that. There's always rhythm guitar though, and if I want to move on to an electric bass instead, acoustic guitars are more for keeping rhythm anyway.

I enjoy the sweet melody of an acoustic guitar anytime. I love acoustic guitars.

Sorry, I wasn't on here for a while. It is a different playing style than a bass guitar. A lot of people pick bass guitars to play because it is an easy to way to get into a band, and they aren't hard to learn. Bass really isn't that hard, but to be great... that is a different story. Timing is really important which is basically the rhythm, but I prefer to do something more than 4/4, something higher is preferable for me. I prefer faster bass lines. Sorry... ummm... if you love the sound of the bass and you promise to actually be awesome and really do something to make the bass guitar a much cooler instrument, go ahead.

If just having fun with it can evolve into really great things, then I'll do it.
