*SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS* I think that's enough warning. Anyway, on with the topic. Personally i think it was a great ending (Harry and Ginny got married yay). And I KNEW Snape was good after all . I don't have much complaints, except I would have liked to know what happened in that 19 year gap from the moment they leave the Headmaster's Office though. I mean, at least a year or even just a few weeks since the defeat of Voldemort or something. I wish she wrote more about that. Other than that. I loved it. Everyone else's opinions? And if you don't like harry potter dont reply to this thread.

I read through the entire book the day it came out and I really liked it. I thought Rowling did a great job of wrapping up the story, even with all the twists she threw in (Harry not really dying, etc.). I wish the epilogue was a drop longer, though. It felt like she just threw a bunch of information at readers and left it at that. While I think it's great that the series ended on such a lighthearted note, a few more details would have been nice.
Rowling is planning to make some sort of Harry Potter encyclopedia, so hopefully that will tie up the few lose ends.

It was weak on the whole. The beginning was interesting, but I found the middle to be slow and the events really stretching things. Of course three seventeen year olds can break into the highly secured Ministry of Magic and Gringotts. Oh, and there just so happened to be a dragon there that they could ride to freedom. The other books' events all seemed logical within context, but the secenarios in this one just seemed too perfect to me.
That said, the ending was good until... about 30 pages from the end. The final fight was predictable and cheesy. All of the fun twists and stuff happened long before the book ended. It was still a good book, but it wasn't the best in the series.

Yeah, I have to admit that breaking into both the Ministry and Gringotts was a bit of a stretch, as was the dragon escape. But I decided to just roll with it and not worry about how illogical it was.

I thought it was a pretty good ending. I really thought Harry Potter would die though.

I finished the book a while back, and I was disappointed. Cliche ending. I was hoping that they would both die. Snape, I always knew he was a softy. XD
