I just got the half life 2 demo today, horray!!!! (i hate steam though!) I had the demo before, but i couldnt spend alot of time with it because my pc's hard drive had a crack in it, so I got screwed over! But my hard core action gamer soul is now complete!

We had problems with steam when we were installing Half-life 2 but it paid off.

That is the only wait in the entire service, but its a rediculous 45 min. wait! The game is worth the wait though, and if you ignore that one problem, steam would be a pretty good anti-source code theft program. Plus, any additional games that you purchase from steam or other steam affiliates are well organized in the steam My Games section.

Your point is?
Everyone plays old games sometime in their life, and its not that old either man. It is a game that is just so awesome, that it needs to be played.

My mom has HL2 on her PC... well the PC is now my bro's. Because of retarded Steam, I'm not able to play it on my PC.

oh, i forgot about the file sharing lock on it. that makes it clear for me, lol. I think if you want to play it on your pc, your gonna need a new copy of HL2 for that to work.

Well, my site gave it Game of the Year in 2004 (yes, over Halo 2), so I think I know it's awesome. What my intended message was "it's two years old...why haven't you played it yet?" I'm thinking about buying it for Xbox...it's only $20 now.

I have played it, but when I did play it, my hard drive died in the middle of the first scene, so i didnt get to fully experience the combat part. I want to get it for the xbox, but I havent seen a copy yet here, and I currently cant afford shipping.
One awesome almost easter egg I have found in the HL2 game is that if you look really closley, you can see that in the "We dont go to Ravenholm anymore" level, you can see that Father is wearing red Converses! We need more Vid. games with holy figures wearing Chucks!
