I have a PS2. Although I do believe that having a DVD player in a game console is a dumb idea, now I can watch Napoleon Dynamite in my room. So that's a mixed plus. Yea, but I mean, I guess it is good for people who don't have a DVD palyer, or don't have one in their room. It's good quality, plus is less expensive, and the games.

It's all an excuse so they won't buy one.
If I had an excuse to only buy a 360 and stick with it, it's probably because I haven't seen any Revolution or 'real' PS3 game footage at all; E3 is only a few weeks away, and this $356 I saved for a 360 is about to not need to be saved for a 360 and be saved for something else...
E3 will settle the second console. I know that I want to ask my Dad for a SEGA Saturn secondhand for Christmas, and so I don't think another console will happen after that...

The Revolution is liek going to be around $200, so wait junior. I wouldn't get a 360, I have a few console system already, and I am trying to get out of being a total gaming geek, I will still buy Nintendo, but I just don't have the money to be a complusive game buyer like I used to, and plus why have all these games if I can't play them all. I am trying to have a healthier body, I'm trying to be cool, but not be a prep XD

He's the kind of person that can spoil you over the simplest things (he's getting it because I simply wrote him a thank you letter and mailed it to him, and he was practically in tears), and since this saved money wouldn't have a purpose besides buying a new 360 game (which I'm thinking he'll buy one or two), I am deciding which console to save it for. That, or buying a PSP and Lumines + Power Stone Collection. ;D

Do you know how expensive the Power Stone games, especially the second, can be?

That, or buying a PSP and Lumines + Power Stone Collection. ;D Just don't buy the 360 until a newer model of it comes out. There's ALOT of bugs in the current model. I wish I would've known and waited to get a PS2 when it first came out.. << But because of FFX coming out, I had to get it. Meh... the original PS2 model sucked when it came to playing PS1 games, it would end up skipping during the FMVs. No matter what game I had... new or old, scratched or not, I would still have problems. Turns out... later on they released a new model of it, it plays PS1 games perfect.. << Oh well... I no longer have a PS2 now anyways, so I'm gonna save up (after I remodel this computer), and get a PS3 instead a bit after it comes out. Probably during the first price drop.. by then my computer should be perfect. But... I'll only get it then if if there's no problems with it.. if not, then I'll just wait for the next model.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Do not feed into the PSP's evil. T_T Do you ever see those commercials with the squirrels? Yes, and they're horrible, sexual, borderline racist, and downright obnoxious. It doesn't really matter to me if Powerstone 2 is expensive on DC, if I wanted it, I'd get the DC version and ignore the PSP. If what's in these commercials is what Sony thinks will sell its handheld, I'll show them that they are wrong. Besides, what makes you think it would be better or just as good on PSP? The PSP might trick you into thinking it can handle fully 3D games, but I've played the 3D titles, AND THEY SUCK. The camera systems are awful, and controller response usually ends up being hit or miss. Death Jr betrayed me. Graymatter is right: PSP stands for "Perverted Squirrel Puke."

Yea, it's like when it is available to me for the original system I would get it. Have you seen the VG CAts joke about the PSP commercials? It's funny. I will probably only get the Revolution, and the successors to Gameboy and DS. I will spend the rest of my money for a Mac laptop and some digital video and game design programs, and a camera. Trying to get out of the being a major gaming geek...also need to save up for college.

Yes, I have. VG Cats is one of my favorite comics, but their latest one has Leo dissecting Pooh Bear. That's just not right! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO POOH BEAR! I wouldn't mind another Kingdom Hearts 2 comic, but I just hope Scott (its creator) will keep up with being creative without having to be vulgar. VG Cats is like that little girl with a curl on her forehead: when it's funny, it's REALLY funny, but when it's vulger, it's absolutely horrid. Oh, and Leo and Aeris are cool.

Whether or not those commercials are degrading or not, I like the PlayStation brand. My PS1 never had problems, and my PS2 just stopped working properly, but it's been five years with no aggressive action towards it (I threw the controller, but towards a carpeted floor.), I feel confident a PSP would be good in my hands. Keep in mind, this isn't until September, which gives E3 its time to come and go. And by then I may not want a PSP.

The PSP, you CANNOT drop it more than 2 feet. If that happens the whole thing gets screwed up. The door busts and the screen could get cracked.

I don't drop my consoles that much. Trust me, I am careful with this stuff. But I'll say it again: this is not a definite decision. If Nintendo or Sony can deliver something awesome at E3, I'll forget about PSP in about a week. Mmmkay?

Also, I've found that you said that Powerstone 1 and 2 on DC are rather expensive, but you'd get the PSP? Buying the two games separately would still be less expensive; the PSP is a handheld, yet it costs more than most of the home consoles out there right now.
