I know, Pikachu was the only returning character whose FS wasn't featured in the first SSBBrawl video. I wonder what it'll look like. I have a hunch that it will look electrical .

*to myself*I see Richard beat me to it:
www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/various/various01.html
Now, 'this' is excellent to hear. Really puts an end to the 'how will SSBB control?' argument(except for the Wiimote and Wiimote/nunchuck options, though).
DragonBall Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Wii, Naruto EX, Mortal Kombat Armageddon Wii, and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Wii have taken this path. Great to see SSBB also take this path, too. ^_^
Oh, I hope more fighting games come to Wii.

Four control schemes sounds a little foreign to me. It's great they're including Cube controllers, though. But we still don't know if they apply to one player or all players yet.

If you are saying that some of the control schemes will only be used for SP modes, I highly doubt it. Sakurai wouldn't post a blog without mentioning such a thing, and the fact is Sakurai is one to go all out on his games so I'm not surprised.

Four control schemes sounds a little foreign to me. At least those control schemes(Wiimote and Wiimote/nuncuck) will be accessable to different audiences while the GCN controller option and classic controller option are already accessable to traditionalists/pursuists.It's great they're including Cube controllers, though. But we still don't know if they apply to one player or all players yet. Then we'll just have to rely on the next 5 updates next week(if another update is based on the 'game modes' section) for that.

What I mean is, when you select your game mode of choice, will it affect everyone who's playing the game, or will everybody get to choose their own distinct gameplay mode? As for me, I'll always stick with the Cube controller. At least I won't smack anyone on accident.

And so begins another week of daily SSBB updates:www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/fox.htmlLast year, we have already seen the second SSBB trailer in which by the end of it, Fox McCloud makes a return. Today's update finally features Fox with four new screenshots of him showcasing a couple of his special moves which we have seen in past SSB fightng games.
Good to see him again for SSBB.

I just hope they dont make it too reliant on the wii remote functions. I want a simple fighing game just like the predecessors.

@ *KoE*
Just pick the GCN option, KoE, if you feel that way. As much as I undersand you opinion about the Wii Remote/Nuncuck control options, don't be 'too concerned' and 'worried' about them. Let the other people enjoy those types of control all they want. We already know that the 'simplicity formula' in SSBB isn't going to be tampered with now that the GCN controller option is confirmed in SSBB for 'SSB pursuists'. IMO, this move to support all control styles is to supposedely to make the game more accessible to different audiences(Wii Remote/Nunchuck) and still attract the core audience who played SSB before already(Classic Controller and GCN controller).

And John, just hang in there. I'm just keeping my paitence.
*update/new stage*
www.smashbros.com/en_us/stages/stage03.html
If you remember Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for SNES, then this stage will take you back. Parts of the stage(the platforms for example) are cel-shaded. Flying Shy-guys are seen and possibily other SMW2 enemies.
Also, unlike the Battlefield SSBB stage(which changes from day to night to day again), this is the second stage to feature a change of scenery which is based on the four seasons(Spring, Summer Fall, and Winter).

*Update/music*
www.smashbros.com/en_us/music/music03.html
For those who are familliar with Ridley from Metroid, this is his theme/boss music. And since this is just my speculation, could this mean that Ridley himself is going to be a newcomer in SSBB?
Once again, my speculation.
